TorrMetal Adds Staff to Manage Quality Assurance

CLEVELAND, OH (April 18, 2008)- TorrMetal, a full service metal stamping company located in Cleveland, recently hired John Gloeckler as a Quality Technician in their Cleveland facility. Gloeckler will work with vendors and employees to ensure the quality of customers’ finished products.

“We are thrilled to have someone with John’s quality assurance qualifications joining our team,“ explained Patrick Sheehan, President of TorrMetal. “His expertise in problem solving, quality inspection, and product development have already helped us improve our quality and our processes, and he is ensuring accountability and traceability systems are in place.”

Gloeckler’s main responsibilities in his new role will include performing visual inspections, as well as equipment calibrations, quality assurance customer service, and production training and instruction for machine operators.

Gloeckler is a certified American Society for Quality Mechanical Inspector and has certifications in AutoCAD 2002, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and Mathematics for Machine Technology, Blueprint Reading, and Technical Sketching.
